Paula J. Kemp

Paula J. Kemp is a U.S. Navy combat veteran who served during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom as a Combat Photographer. She is the Founder and President of Unjustly Served Foundation and Unjustly Served, LLC, a veteran-led advocacy initiative focused on accountability, prevention, and reform surrounding Military Sexual Trauma (MST).

Paula is deeply proud of her service and the men and women who wear the uniform. Her work is grounded in the belief that true support for the military includes holding systems accountable—because integrity, trust, and leadership are essential to readiness and to those who serve.

As an MST survivor and Peer Support Specialist, Paula has spent years working directly with veterans navigating the long-term impact of trauma, including the VA claims process, discharge upgrades, and access to care.  Paula is the co-author of Unjustly Served: The Brutal Reality of Military Sexual Trauma.
